What is this 1337 stuff?
1337, or leet is a way of writing using numbers and symbols. It is a sort of internet language and is based mainly upon English, with some words of it's own, though these mostly resemble English ones.Some example words are: haxxor: hacker pwnd: owned - this means beaten an example of its usage is: '3y3 pwnd j00' -> 'I owned you' -> 'I have beaten you' this is used mainly in the context of online games such as CS:S.
There is no real standard to 1337, and there are many styles, some when use just the language specific words, to those that use no letters at all. This converter uses two conversion types. 1) instant conversion, this gives the same out put everytime and converts at the same time as you type, the refresh timeout can be altered, depending on how fast your system is. 2) standard conversion, this method gives a more varied output, from a selection of letter arrays the program randomly chooses a conversion and displays this, such that each time you click the convert button you get a different and unique output.
